You will find plenty to keep you fit and healthy along the Lincolnshire Coast, from a brisk walk along the sea-front, splashing about in the sea or local swimming pool, fitness classes, local gym or for those who enjoy the more extreme sports how about skateboarding; sailing (I don’t think that pedaloes or rowing on the boating lake quite fall under that category but still brilliant fun), jet-skiing, etc. The Lincolnshire Coast’s renowned flatness also makes sightseeing by cycle a bit less daunting for the majority of us but still stamina challenging for those gods/goddesses of lycra. If your more of an armchair fitness fanatic then make sure you keep an eye out on our events calendar for lots of action including the British Kite-Surfing Freestyle Championship, AMCA beach motorcross, racing at Cadwell Park and Skegness Stadium. During the summertime the RNLI also have their annual Skegness lifeboat station RNLI Flag Week and RNLI Lifeboat Day when you can witness a sea-life rescue display, it really is exhausting just watching them.
