We’re now in October and Halloween is approaching! In Skegness we’re starting our celebrations with the Barley Mow Pie Night on the 17th with 2 courses for £15, and on the 19th the Ark Wildlife Park begin their 13-day celebrations with some “goulish animal encounters!”
There’s a lot happening on the 26th commencing at 10am, the Skegness Aquarium is hosting a “Dinos and Dragons” Halloween Special; at 11am the Hildred’s Shopping Centre have their Halloween event. The evening celebrations begin at 4pm at the Skegness Pier with their Halloween Party that has a special ticket price, only online! The Old Chequers Inn finish off the day with their Halloween Party at 9pm.
To end the October festivities, on the 31st the Bateman’s Visitor Centre has a Halloween Music Train at 7pm, and a little later in the evening (for the adults!) the Kush Nightclub have a Halloween Fancy Dress Party. A little into November, the Busters Fun Pub has an ‘80s themed Halloween Costume Party for those still feeling a little spooky!
A short distance away in Ingoldmells, Fear Island (of Fantasy Island) have a “spooktacular” firework display on the 16th, 23rd and 30th of October. The Jump Warriors Trampoline Park has two nights of fun! They are hosting a Monster Disco Ball on the 25th, followed by a Fright Night on the 26th. BJs Leisureworld & Big Top Family Showbar have a ‘Big Top Halloween Party’ on the 26th and 31st. There’s certainly something for all the family to do!
Celebrating the end of a fantastic season in Chapel St Leonards, Tomlinsons Leisure Park are having their Halloween Fancy Dress Party including a golden oldies disco, bingo, raffle and more. In Sutton On Sea, Poplar Farm Holiday Cottages & Farm Shop open their Pumpkin Patch on the 25th from 10am – 4pm for you to pick your pumpkin and participate in pumpkin activities and games!
In Cleethorpes The Burlington Hotel are starting a Pumpkin Hunt on the 18th of October in preparation for a prize draw on the 1st November. In the Halloween spirit, Arthurs House is Arthurs Asylum from the 24th – 31st with ‘brain-washing’ music, enjoyment and dancing is essential! The Rose and Crown have an ‘80s Halloween Party on the 26th with a free drink for those in fancy dress! The Beachcomber Holiday Park & Entertainment Centre are hosting a Spooktacular Halloween Party on the 31st with face painting and more. On the 31st the Rose and Crown are rounding off their celebrations with a Big Halloween Quiz!
