Fantasy Island’s very own Circus of Screams has opened its doors for another year to fright and delight audiences throughout the weeks leading up to Halloween. The daytime shows are family friendly and offer light hearted entertainment in the big top. The evening shows are adults only and are a bit more involved - enter if you dare!
Our family were welcomed into the circus tent by some ghoulish characters and we took our seats (after purchasing slightly frighteningly colourful slushies!!)
The dare-devil fire acts from The Voodoo captured the attention of my children and were very effective in the darkened tent. Ruby Dagger’s performance was something not to try at home and the glow in the dark juggling was a success.
The clowns were the star of the show though, with their slapstick comedy and audience participation, we were captivated. Although, the scariest part had to be the clown’s chosen nightware!
A great way to spend a wet afternoon, the show was scary enough to intrigue the kids without giving them nightmares! See you next year Circus of Screams!
