Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

Situated just a few minutes away from Skegness and established in thirty-two acres of pleasant countryside, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is one of the UK’s foremost animal sanctuaries. It is famous for caring for the UK’s largest collection of parrots and many other rescued and re-homed animals, it is also home to the country’s greatest collection of Bengal Tigers.

With enclosures designed to promote spontaneous behaviours between the inhabitants, including the choice of making friends with people, the facility specialises in animal encounters and takes pride in providing homes for lemurs, snakes, lizards, tortoises, meerkats, as well as a capybara and Brazilian tapir. There is a lot of information around the park for visitors to read and qualified animal handlers and staff are always on hand to talk to and answer questions.

The park is a significant visitor destination and major county attraction, proud WINNERS of the 2017 ELBA VISITOR ATTRACTION OF THE YEAR for providing unique and exceptional animal experiences for local residents and visitors from all areas of the UK, Europe and the World.

In April 2017 the Park opened the BENGAL GARDENS, an exceptional £1million, three-acre state-of-the-art, purpose-built tiger enclosure incorporating visitor walkways, viewing areas, platforms and visitor centre.

Investment and upgrades have been made throughout the park with improvements to the restroom facilities, Rainforest Diner and retail areas. Our Construction and development have been purposely designed to provide access for all including mobility scooters, wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The Rainforest Diner provides a variety of food, hot and cold, catering for all tastes, ages and diet. The food is prepared on site and sourced daily from local suppliers.

Ecologically aware and sensitive to conservation, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park gives a lot of attention and consideration to waste management and regeneration. 16,000 trees have been planted in designated areas, sixty per cent of all water used within the park is harvested and seventy-five per cent of the waste created is recycled.
